Phase 1 - Staging Consultation and Walk-Through

This initial step includes an in-depth walk-through of the entire property with the owner.  One of our experienced staging specialists will offer verbal suggestions and recommendations during the house tour and will then follow up with a customized written staging report.  All interior areas are addressed room-by-room as well as any exterior areas. Included is a checklist with action items, giving the homeowner a logical and sequential course of action.  This step should take place as early as possible.

Phase 2 - Pre-Staging Preparation phase

This second step requires the homeowner to review the checklist and perform whatever tasks they elect to do.  These tasks can consist of things like painting, repair work, de-cluttering, removing furniture, cleaning etc. Serenity Designs can help to arrange for handyman services, painting, organizers and packers, movers, landscaping, clean-out and other related services.  Keep in mind, the recommendations are made to maximize the sales price and “reveal the hidden equity” in the home.  The homeowner can opt to do all or nothing, or something in between. The homeowner/seller is primarily responsible for this phase of the staging plan.

Phase 3 - Staging Implementation

Serenity Designs can provide half-day, full-day, or multi-day staging options.  Whether the home will remain occupied or vacant, Serenity Designs will customize the plan to best suit the particular situation.  We can use a client’s furnishings or our own or a mix of both. We have a huge inventory of furnishings and accessories in our warehouse to stage our clients' homes, usually at a cost much less than what a local furniture rental company would charge.  Our designers know exactly how to position furniture and accessories to maximize the appeal of your home and highlighting the home’s unique features, resulting in quicker sales and higher sale prices.

Our goal, together, is to use staging as a way to increase equity and build wealth
